A new film inspired of the casino world is set to be released during 2012. Titled Cogan’s Trade, the film will have a dream cast, with no less than 3 head figures: Brad Pitt, Sam Rockwell and Casey Affleck.

A free adaptation

Adapted from the novel written by George V. Higgins, Cogan’s Trade depicts the story of Jackie Cogan, a little gangster charged by the mafia to find the stolen money following from a poker tournament it organised. The movie should be a free adaptation of the book and add a touch of comedy to the plot.

Technical specifications

Following Chopper and The Assassination of Jesse James by Robert Ford the coward, the new film directed by the Australian Andrew Dominik has a prestigious cast. Indeed, apart from Brad Pitt, Sam Rockwell and Casey Affleck, others have joined the game: Javier Bardem, Ray Llota, James Gandolfini and Sam Shepard.
