Partouche revenues down 2,9%
During the 2010-2011 fiscal year that ended last October, the Partouche Group has earned 464.3 million euros in revenues, representing a decrease of 2.9% compared to the 478.1 million recorded during the previous year.
The impact of a tax measure
To explain this drop in income, the Partouche Group highlights the tax measure separation in the scale of sampling for table games and slot machines. Retroactive to November 1st, 2008, this had generated an outstanding effect on the sales for the year 2009-2010, with a final amount of 9.9 million euros. If we do not consider this amount, the turnover for the year 2010-2011 has decreased by only 0.8%, compared to 2009-2010.
Online results are down
Partouche Interactive, the group's subsidiary specializing in online gambling activities and including a leading Poker site in France, has earned 6.9 million euros over 2010-2011, representing a decrease of 8% compared to the 7.5 million euros of the previous fiscal year.
A difficult quarter
During the fourth quarter, the group recorded a total revenue of 109.4 million euros against 117,2 million during the same period last year. To explain this bad performance, the Partouche group evokes the difficult economic environment, especially during August and September.
